Paintball is one of the fastest growing recreational and tournament sports out there. Paintball started in the woods back in the 80's with what was then known as the "survival game", using paint markers developed for marking timber and then adapted for marking cattle. The first paintballs were very expensive (more than 20 cents each!) and had real paint in them, so clean-up required a rag and lots of turpentine. Safety equipment was almost non-existant, with participants using safety glasses and those cheap shop goggles.
Modern paintballs are much less expensive (less than 3 cents each) non-toxic and clean up with water. Safety equipment has greatly improved. Our field staff supervises each game and enforces safety rules at all times. When played on a commercial field supervised by trained staff, the sport of paintball has been rated safer than fishing!
Over the years, paintball developed into two different styles - speedball (any game played on a field set up with evenly spaced bunkers, usually inflatables) and woodsball (played in the woods with or without various object to hide behind scattered about the field randomly) Tournaments are usually played on speedball (usually inflatable bunkers) fields and Scenerio events are held in the woods.
Dynamic Games is proud to now offer both types of play to our customers. We have the latest bunker set on our speedball fields (X-ball kits) as well as two challenging woods courses, each large enough for groups of 20+ players at one time. We also have an Urban Assault field consisting of a mock chemical plant made up of pipes, concrete walls, and the ever popular "hazardous" chemical barrels.
Dynamic Games offers many opportunities for players interested in playing on a tournament team, with over 12 sponsored teams calling DGS home. We have the only all-girl paintball team in the state of Georgia, GALvanized, who has been playing tournaments in the Southeast for the last 4 years. We are always looking for girls interested in learning to play tournament paintball. No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and a love of the game.
Walk-on's welcome! Don't have a big group? No problem. Our field staff will make sure you get to play as much as you like, even if you show up alone.
We do parties! Dynamic Games offers discounts for birthday parties, business outing, and ALL religious groups. If your business can't come to us, we can come to you! DGS can bring paintball to your location if necessary.
